  Python68k (Amiga)
Author: Rozsoft   Verified: Sep 17, 2026   id: 6054
Python68K is a deliberately restricted, Python-compatible language and runtime environment designed specifically for classic Amiga systems (AmigaOS 2.x+). Have you ever wanted to write clean, high-level code for your A500, A1200, or A4000? Python68K bridges the gap between modern scripting logic and the raw power of the Motorola 68000. By compiling source code into a custom, efficient bytecode format and executing it on an explicit stack VM, it allows you to bring Python-style productivity to the classic hardware we all love.

  RayLab
Author: Marcus Geelnard   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1472
This is the official RayLab home-page, where you will find the latest news and releases for all supported platforms. What is RayLab? RayLab is a so called raytracer, which means that it is capable of producing realistic three-dimensional pictures. The technique allows you to create very realistic (or surrealistic, if you like that better) objects with reflections, shadows, highlights, realistic textures etc.. RayLab is a text-oriented program, which means that the scenes are described in a special language. Better yet, RayLab is freeware! (Many different platforms)

  ReqTools
Author: Nico François,Magnus Holmgren   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 98
Reqtools.library is a standard Amiga shared, runtime library. The purpose of ReqTools is to make it a lot quicker and easier to build standard requesters into your programs. ReqTools is designed with Commodore's style guidelines in mind, all requesters have the look-and-feel of AmigaDOS Release 2. If you use ReqTools in your programs you do not have to worry about requesters too much. You'll have a lot more time to concentrate on the really important stuff your program does.

  Retro Games
Author: Nathan Wolf   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1745
Welcome to Retro Games. Technology improves; graphic engines are getting faster, and programs are getting better. We are here to break that monotony. Retro Games will be producing many games for the Amiga that are basically imitations of programs that have been on Commodore 64 and Atari. The games will be modified so that they will be the way I would have liked to see them. !!NEW!! Retro Games will now be producing one game a month usually just a small old Atari remake. This month it is Phaser Blast, a copy of David Crane's Laser Blast(r), published by Activision(r) in 1982.

  Samplitude Opus
Author: Marc Albrecht and Thomas Wenzel   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 143
Samplitude is obviously not the first sampling program for Amiga, but it differs from the other programs by the possibility of editing different samples with different sampling resolutions. Any number of projects can be administrated simultaneously in windows of optional size. This is an easy way to exchange data between several samples. Samplitude offers another option: zooming with any depth desired is not only possible along the time axis (horizontal) but also in the amplitude range (vertical), an urgent need for higher sampling resolutions in particular. Up to three different zoom factors of one sound can be displayed simultaneously
