  Adventureland
Author: Adventureland   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 2035
This site tries to list all adventure games (interactive fiction) produced over the years. When I say "adventure", I mean text adventures and their graphical decendants, but I don't include RPGs. For a more detailed description of what's included here and not, see the FAQ. Adventureland is located at http://www.if-legends.org/~adventure/. Besides there is a mirror maintained by Hans Persson. if-legends.org is a non-commercial project devoted to adventure games. If you have comments on the layout or find bugs in it, please let me know about it. If you are interested in getting mail each time these pages are updated, you can subscribe here.

  Aleph One/SDL
Author: Christian Bauer   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 16
Aleph One is an Open Source 3D first-person shooter game, based on the game Marathon 2 by Bungie Software. It supports, but doesn't require, OpenGL for rendering. Aleph One was originally a MacOS-only game, but I'm working on a cross-platform version based on the Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) library, that should eventually run on all systems supported by SDL (Linux, BeOS, Windows, MacOS, Solaris, IRIX, *BSD, and others).

  Alpha Software

Specialists in software and website design. Creators of DWaRFx, Ultimate Gloom, Zombie Massacre and others. Just for the record, Alpha Software are still Alive, and kicking! :-).. A lot of you have been emailing Alpha Software asking about the status of 'The Dead Walk' and our attempt to gain the rights to port 'Resident Evil'. Well, at this moment in time The Dead Walk has not been cancelled, it is still progressing. However it must be said that all programmers and graphic artists now have full time jobs, not in the Amiga industry. That's why its taking an age to produce.

Author: Angus Manwaring and Dennis Smith   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 187
Welcome to the Amiga Games Database. It's purpose is to provide Amiga games players with an informed but subjective opinion on a wide range of games. A vast amount of Amiga titles have been written, some of them more than a decade ago. We've all come across some awful software in our time, but for many of us, there's a surprising quantity of undiscovered classic Amiga games out there. The AGDB is here to help you identify them. Almost 900 reviews!!!

Amiga Lemmings (1991) Integrated Level Editor for 1P and 2P Levels
Author: Timo Heimonen   Verified: Oct 02, 2026   id: 6078
A patch that adds custom levels to Amiga Lemmings (1991): an in-game level editor that runs natively on the Amiga, inside the original game and its engine. No External tools are needed to make a level. On the title screen, CUSTOM follows FUN, TRICKY, TAXING and MAYHEM, with a list of your own levels, for one or two players, and New Level to create one. Levels are saved on a level disk and can be shared as .lvl files. For floppy (A500) and as a WHDLoad install for hard disk.

  Amiga Quake 2 Page

On this page you can download some extra material for Quake 2 for the Amiga. If you do not know where to get Quake 2 for Amiga from, check your local Amiga dealer and ask him about it. Quake 2 was ported to Amiga by Hyperion Entertainment based on the GPL'ed Quake 2 Code. The package Amiga dealers have in stock includes an original Windows Quake 2 CD containing the Quake 2 Datafiles.

  Amiga's Phantasmagoria
Author: Seven Flowers   Verified: Aug 02, 2026   id: 2236
It was many years ago that Amiga Flame exclusively reported that Phantasmagoria was coming to the Amiga. There was great deal of excitement judging by my filled mailbox, but after a few years, all talk of Phantasmagoria died out. It had seemed that Phantasmagoria had fallen by the way side. However, Alive Mediasoft has announced this week that Phantasmagoria, a very scary adventure game is to hit the Amiga {...} The Pulse has exclusively interviewed Roberta Williams, the creator of this interactive horror, with this issue expected in February. Also on Alive Mediasoft's CD catalogue 1.6 there is a world exclusive trailer of the game, and they are currently working on a demo.

  AmiGalaga
Author: mwulffn (Michael Wulff Nielsen)   Verified: Oct 03, 2026   id: 6080
Galaga for the Amiga 500: a port of the 1981 arcade game, written in 68000 assembly for a stock A500 (OCS, 512 KB of chip RAM, Kickstart 1.3, PAL). It is not an emulation. The enemies fly the arcade's own flight scripts, arrive in its waves, dive on its schedule and drop bombs by its rules, and the sound is the arcade's sound driver ported to Paula. Each of those was checked against the arcade running in MAME. The rest is made for the Amiga: the formation is drawn as blitter strips, the fighter, its shots and the stars are hardware sprites, and the game runs at arcade speed on a 50 Hz display.

AmiGTA1 - A native AmigaOS 68k port of Grand Theft Auto is in the works
  Author:   Verified: Sep 01, 2026   id: 6002
Amiga owners here's another interesting news story to talk about, as developer Grzegorz Korycki, who was mentioned by us previously for his work on OpenTTD for AmigaOS 68k, is working on a port called AmiGTA1. This ambitious project is a ground-up reimplementation of the 1997 classic Grand Theft Auto engine specifically optimized for native AmigaOS 68k systems.

  AmiSC 68K
Author: angree Grzegorz Korycki   Verified: Aug 15, 2026   id: 2432
An Amiga 68k port of the best space RTS strategy game. The engine runs natively on AmigaOS 3.x — no PC emulation, no interpreter. Integer arithmetic only: the binary contains not one FPU instruction, because plenty of 68k machines have no FPU. It loads your own copy of the original game's data files and plays a skirmish against computer opponents on a native AGA or RTG screen. This is a total alpha. It is playable — you can start a match, build a base and win it — and it has plenty of rough edges. The full list is further down and it is honest. Read it before you install.

AmiWind - Bringing TES III: Morrowind to Commodore Amiga
Author: FlyingFathead (Harry Horsperg)   Verified: Sep 30, 2026   id: 6086
AmiWind: an experimental Morrowind demake and asset conversion pipeline for Commodore Amiga. A fan-made tribute, free and open-source conversion tools, and an experimental Amiga runtime. We are working toward a small, walkable slice of Vvardenfell; this is a proof of concept, not a finished Morrowind port. The A500 experiment is preserved alongside the accelerated AGA development track.
