  SIDPLAY Home Page
  Author: n/a   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1537
  - A multi-platform C64 music player and SID chip emulator - Basically, SIDPLAY [1] is just an ordinary music player software. More specifically, SIDPLAY emulates the Sound Interface Device chip (MOS 6581, commonly called SID) and the Micro Processor Unit (MOS 6510) of the Commodore 64 [2] on your computer. It is a platform independent software which emulates these hardware components. Therefore it is able to load and execute C64 machine code programs which produce music or sound. In general these are independent fragments of code and data which have been ripped from games and demonstration programs and have been transferred directly from the C64. For the Amiga, BeOS, OS/2 Warp, win. Mac, Linux and others.

  Author: n/a   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 564
This document will hopefully answer some of the frequently asked questions so well that the questions stop becoming frequent, which will allow us to concentrate on discussing games instead of frequently answering frequently asked questions. Yes. If your question is about UAE, then the answer is definitely to be found in this FAQ! Read section 1. All of it! Thanks :-) And if you think it is okay to post binaries here, read section 4a! (quick answer: It is NOT)

This page is dedicated to experimental WinUAE enhancements that may or may not make it into the main UAE distribution. The binaries provided here are beta material and not intended for consumption by end users. You should download them only if you are sufficiently familiar with UAE in general, have a working WinUAE installation and are willing to cope with buggy code.

UADE - Unix Amiga Delitracker Emulator
Author: Heikki Orsila   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 2090
About UADE: UADE plays old Amiga tunes through UAE emulation and cloned m68k-assembler Eagleplayer API. UADE is Open Source compatible with Free Software definition. UADE is licensed with GNU GPL. This software would not have been possible for us to produce without the great Free Software model which allowed us to make use of years of hard work of the UAE team. Most of the thanks goes to their pioneering work to build the necessary infrastructure, especially Bernd Schmidt, the initiator of UAE project.

  UAE Amiga Emulator
Author: Bernd Schmidt   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1992
UAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. UAE is written for Unixish systems; it is developed on a Linux machine but it should compile and run on any half-recent Unix-like operating system. It has also been ported to a wide variety of machines and operating systems, including DOS, Windows 95/NT, MacOS, RiscOS, BeOS and NextStep.

Makers of the The English version of the video about the German fair "Amiga 2001". All spoken texts, with the exception of the survey, which has been subtitled, have been translated. The video's focus lies on AmigaOS4 and MorphOS: Ben Hermans from Hyperion and Gerald Carda from bplan tell us about their respective plans for the future and even the visitors get to state their opinions. Furthermore the 25-minutes-video contains a lot of information about the latest hard- and software, and there's also short report about the atari-park.

  Warblade (Deluxe Galaga/Pacman/Tetriz)
Author: Edgar M Vigdal   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 2039
What is Warblade? Warblade is a PC remake of my old Amiga game Deluxe Galaga. Deluxe Galaga was voted best shareware game for the Amiga. It was also voted in on the TOP100 games for the Amiga of all time. All the 98 other games on the list was commercial games! On this page you will find info about the 3 games I made for the Amiga. Deluxe Galaga and Deluxe PacMan evolved over a 2 year period, into the state you see here. The games was quite popular on the Amiga, especially Deluxe Galaga. The games are available in both ECS and AGA versions. (For download)

  Welcome to MagicEngine homepage!
Author: David & Cédric Michel   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1794
MagicEngine is a PC-Engine (TurboGrafx-16) console emulator: the famous console made by NEC back in '87... It was a nice little machine, with great graphic capacities (16-bit video processor, 512 colors, 64 sprites), and a fast and powerful 8-bit CPU. It also had a very good game collection, with high quality games, and even today some PC-Engine games are still without an equivalent on modern consoles. Of course if you enjoy only 3-D games, well, the PC-Engine may disappoint you a bit, but if you love good old 2-D games, especially shoot'em up, give it a try, it really has some excellent games! An Amiga port (OS 4) of MagicEngine may be possible too, we are thinking to that at the moment. If we do this port we will start to work on it after the release of v1.0. Thank you to all the Amiga users who sent us e-mails to support us!
