Obituary: Amiga musician Dennis "Psyria" Lohr has passed away
  Author:   Verified: Sep 12, 2026   id: 6011
Amiga musician Dennis Lohr, known in the scene as Psyria, passed away a few days ago, as confirmed by various sources, including his fellow musician Markus Pflaumbaum. Psyria was a longtime and highly regarded musician in the German Amiga scene who produced his works exclusively on the Amiga - using tracker tools such as DigiBooster Pro and engaging in a lively exchange of data and samples via IRC and forums. amiga-news.de has followed Dennis Lohr for many years. In 2001, he produced a song for amiga-news.de (our report). His albums The Last Obligation (2005), The 2nd Chapter (2007), and Moving On (2018) were created entirely on the Amiga. (nba)

  Phoenix Developer Consortium
Author: greenboy   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1994
This site has been established as a central resource for all our developers, and to serve as the voice of the Phoenix Developer Consortium. Our intention is to establish a migration path to a new computing experience. By clearly defining the standards and specifications that Phoenix hardware and software developers will be using, we provide a common basis for individual members to proceed with their own development strategies. The Phoenix Developer Consortium is a meeting place and a tool for developers. It is dedicated to the purpose of allowing developers to work together to make the best use of the immense amount of talent wasted in today's computing world. No single developer can do all things well. Phoenix serves as a repository for common standards and methods, and as a source for code distribution. Phoenix provides legal, financial, and other services to developers at a low rate by obtaining these services in quantity. In short, Phoenix provides the means for developers to bring their product from initial conception all the way to the final package on the store shelves.

RedHat 5.1 Linux- Now for your Amiga !!!
Author: Webmaster   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1445
Introduction - This document set explains how to install and setup RedHat m68k Linux on your Amiga. I assume you have some experience with Linux, otherwise I recommend that you purchase any of the books written for newcomers to Linux- there are dozens of such books, most are very thick and include an (intel) Linux CDROM that doubles as a convenient drink coaster. If you are new to Linux, please take a few moments to browse the entire contents of this document set before charging into the install process. By doing so you will save yourself a lot of time and trouble.

  SIDPLAY Home Page
  Author: n/a   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1537
  - A multi-platform C64 music player and SID chip emulator - Basically, SIDPLAY [1] is just an ordinary music player software. More specifically, SIDPLAY emulates the Sound Interface Device chip (MOS 6581, commonly called SID) and the Micro Processor Unit (MOS 6510) of the Commodore 64 [2] on your computer. It is a platform independent software which emulates these hardware components. Therefore it is able to load and execute C64 machine code programs which produce music or sound. In general these are independent fragments of code and data which have been ripped from games and demonstration programs and have been transferred directly from the C64. For the Amiga, BeOS, OS/2 Warp, win. Mac, Linux and others.

  The Amiga magazine list
Author: Claude Müller   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 303
The almost complete AMIGA Magazines List. Since I've got my Amiga back in 1988 I've been looking for Amiga-magazines on newsstands all over the world. I mostly bought German Amiga-magazines, but when I was on vacation I perhaps got a bit ""computer-homesick"" and looked for other Amiga-magazines. I have found many, mostly on airports, but also at really funny places where no-one would expect to find an Amiga-magazine. I found lots of mags. I guess most Amigafans don't know or at least haven't seen most of the mags I mention in this list. However, the list is not complete. I do not have any Amiga-magazines from the Netherlands (there was one). Also if there should have been any African or South American Amiga-magazines (I doubt it), I didn't find them.
