  DICE
Author: pahihu   Verified: Sep 01, 2026   id: 5999
Matt Dillon's DICE 68000 C compiler suite and DXMake. The trick is to use Matt Dillon's DXMake utility to compile the DICE sources. I have ported it to macOS 14, changed the DMakefiles to use dxmake.

DICE C Compiler for the Amiga
Author: neozeed   Verified: Sep 01, 2026   id: 5995
While there were several great C compilers for the Amiga when it was a viable platform, the one left standing today is GCC. Which is fine and all, but it is rather large, and unwieldy. Â And won’t run on a computer with 2MB of RAM (In the off chance that I want to run it on the 600). But that is when I found out that the source code (dice.com has moved!) to old DICE compiler is available!

DICE C Development System (Amiga Computing 85, April 1995)
  Author:   Verified: Sep 01, 2026   id: 5996
Since last April, some Amiga developers have been a bit nervous. The reason? SAS decided to drop the Amiga version of SAS/C, effectively removing one of the main development platforms on the machine and leaving users of the system with bugs that will not be removed. However, all was not quite lost; Matt Dillon’s shareware compiler called DICE was gaining so much support that it was decided to really work on the thing for version 3 to create the ultimate C package. This was no small undertaking and hence the package has moved to the commercial world under the wing of Obvious Implementations Corporation.

  DICE-nx
  Author:   Verified: Sep 01, 2026   id: 5993
This is DICE-nx - a C compiler for Commodore Amiga computers and embedded 68k systems. DICE-nx includes all the tools needed to build Amiga executables - the C compiler itself, as well as an assembler, linker and numerous other support tools. It also has several Amiga-specific features, such as automatic opening of the common Amiga OS libraries, easy support for ARexx, and more. {...} DICE-nx is a fork of DICE, which was originally a commercial product written by Matt Dillon in the 1990s. In the late 1990s, commercial development of DICE ceased and its source code was released under a “non-commercial use only” license

Distributed BASIC is a new BASIC interpreter released in form of a shared library. It is designed to be used by developers to add scripting capabilities to their software. It is easy to embed the language into an application and use it as a macro language like Rexx. This project aims at providing an alternative to Rexx as scripting language while being compatible with Rexx on the communication level.

Author: Dimitris C. Keletsekis   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 599
What it is : Gui4Cli is a simple interpreted, event-driven language (no need for previous programming knowledge), which allows you to easily construct great-looking, resizable, font-sensitive GadTools GUIs which (among many other things) can be used to form command lines that can be sent to AmigaDOS or an ARexx port of an other program, for execution. It has many other capabilities too, things like directory & database listviews, maths evaluation, graphics, timers, commodities, file notifications, pipes, appicons etc. etc. With it you can control just about any aspect of the Amiga. Think of it as "Visual DOS".

Here is a collection of Hardware Drivers for various Amiga boards. Although this software is downloaded from my server I cannot be held responsible if you Amiga stops working/dies/blows up/your sister goes weird etc. after using any of these drivers. Most are downloadable from the manufacturers own homepages. I just thought it would be better to put them all in one place.

  Meet StAHG, the (St)andard (A)miga (H)elp (G)uide
Author: David Crawford & AmigaZone   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1821
StAHG is a simple ReAction based tool created for the purpose of making an Amiga's collection of help files easier to access. Naturally, the first question to come up is, "What help files?" The answer is, "Exactly!" Or, if you prefer, all those Help Files all over your hard drive.. StAHG fixes both problems in one whack. StAHG builds a list of all of the documents found in the "Help:" assign and its subdirectories (.doc, .dok, .txt, .guide), then creates "Workbench.guide" in the propor location to satisfy the requirements for the "undocumented feature." Once run, "Workbench.guide" is available to the OS, and StAHG does not need to be run again (unless you want to update your "Workbench.guide")
