  The OS Emulation HomePage !
Author: Marc R. Hoffman   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1437
About this page..... Welcome to the OS (Operating System) HomePage. This page is my little project to express my "emulator bug." This is a term that one of my friends coined after he saw how much I like computer emulators. By the way, what exactly is a computer emulator, anyway? Read on. Information on [Amiga OS ] [Mac OS ] [Windows 3.11 ] [Windows 95 ][Windows 98 ][JAVA ][Connectix Virtual Game Station ]

  VICE
Author: VICE   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 608
VICE is a Versatile Commodore Emulator, i.e. a program that runs on a Unix, MS-DOS, Win95/NT, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS or BeOS machine and executes programs intended for the old 8-bit Commodore computers. The current version emulates the C64, the C128 (80 column screen is included now), the VIC20, all the PET models (except the SuperPET 9000, which is out of line anyway) and the CBM-II (aka C610).

  WinUAE - Kaillera
Author: WinUAE - Kaillera   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 1936
Play Amiga games over the Internet or LAN! WinUAE-Kaillera enables users of this great emulator to play against another person over a TCP/IP network, such as the internet. For this it uses the Kaillera engine, a program developed specifically for enabling emulators to achieve netplay. As Kaillera itself already has proven its merits on emulators such as Mame and Bliss, this was the perfect choice for the development of this program. In this first actual release there is support for (shared) keyboard, mouse , 2 joysticks and upto 8 connected players ; virtually everything you need to play a game.
