DrawerGenie is a commodity for Amiga OS that lets you add basic toolbars to Workbench drawer windows. These give you some simple DOpus-like functionality in Workbench, for example, defining a destination window and sending selected files to it, copying and pasting files, switching view modes, sorting files, packing/unpacking archives and more. File operations show a progress bar, are asynchronous and can be cancelled. DrawerGenie is an entry into the 2023 Amiga Tool Jam in the Commodity category. |

MPEG 1 Layer II and III decoder and player for AA3000+ Amigas. Requires 68030 or better CPU, DSP3210 on board, 2MB Fast RAM, Amiga OS 3.1 or higher. If you would like to support this development or drop me a thank you, please consider using Ko-Fi and making a donation via the Ko-Fi sponsorship link on this repository's main page. DSPMPEG implements mpeg.device using the DSP3210 found on the Amiga AA3000+. It can decode and play MPEG 1 Layer II and Layer III files with some limitations. Playback is via Paula in 14 bit stereo sound. |

Hi! Welcome to DHTML Lemmings! This is a remake of Lemmings all written in javascript. You will be needing a modern browser and a fairly fast PC to play this game. IE5.5+ pr a recent Mozilla / Opera version and a 500+ Mhz processor should do, but more power is better :) |

Users of many modern computers are used to the concept of dual-booting, where you can select from distinct operating systems when you turn the computer on. Linux, Windows and even Mac can all let the user pick an OS depending on what their particular requirements are… but sadly not the Amiga. Or can it? {...} It turns out, with a little basic AmigaDOS know-how it’s pretty simple. Let’s show you how, with a quick tutorial on choosing an OS based on Kickstart version. Here we’re using an A2000 with a hardware Kickstart switcher, with 1.3 and 3.1 selected with a switch on the back of the machine. |

Documenting the development of a new Amiga AGA and OCS version. Dune II on the Amiga was a really popular game. Most gaming magazines gave it rave reviews and it can consistently be found on "Best Amiga Games Ever"-type lists. Despite all of those accolades, the game on the Amiga wasn't as good as it could have been... My goal is to document the creation of a remake of Dune 2 for the Amiga from scratch the way it was meant to be released and to right all of those wrongs — and more; there was no native PAL support, for example. I was on the original Dune 2 Amiga team at Westwood. Even though I did the bulk of the Dune II conversion, leaving Westwood before it was released was something I still regret, and so I want to give the Amiga community the Dune 2 experience they deserve. |

This is a version of UAE, the Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator, with an emulation core largely based on WinUAE. It attempts to bring many of the great features of WinUAE to non-Windows platforms. This version now finally has a name, E-UAE, since that's what everybody was calling it anyway. The 'E' can stand for anything you fancy. Experimental, extreme, exciting, egalitarian, eggplant, . . . Currently it will build and run (with a varying degree of supported features) on Linux and other Unices, Mac OS X, BeOS, AmigaOS itself (either for 68k machines or PPC machines with AmigaOS 4.0 and the AmigaOS clones MorphOS and AROS). OS X requires either LibSDL or an X server for graphics output, but native graphics are supported on AmigaOS and BeOS, although, at the moment, SDL is also preferred on BeOS since the native driver is incomplete. |

The startup and venture capital world went through a boom from 1981 to 1987. In hindsight, it was a precursor to the 1990s technology boom and bust (a much larger bubble). Three failed products exemplify the boom well: the Commodore Amiga, the Apple Newton, and the Go PenPoint OS. These promising failures show that the line between extreme success and bankruptcy can be a thin one. Product specs, marketing plans, and market readiness are important but are difficult to gauge. |

{ESCOM press release from their lead Attorney from 30 May 1995} My name is Ed Goff I'm a Philadelphia lawyer working with ESCOM and Amiga technologies GmbH, on a wide variety issues related to the relaunch of Amigas. In particular, I will talk today on issues of Licensing. Our strategy will be somewhat different than the strategy that you saw from Commodore in the past. It is our intention to have strategic program for Amigas that with be as open at possible, and which will therefore drive the Amiga technology into as wide a range of products and applications as is possible. |

Note: This is an ongoing work-in-progress version of the Scorpion Editor for Windows and the included Commodore Amiga game samples. It isn't feature complete, is likely to have more than a handful of breaking bugs, and may not work on every Windows configuration - Windows 10 is the recommended OS. Updates will be released on an "early and often" basis. |

Emotion is a powerful multimedia player specially developed for AmigaOS 4.x. The easy-to-use interface, deliberate limitation to required basic functions, as well as optimization on operating system functions, makes Emotion to a software that integrates perfectly into the current AmigaOS. The use of FFMpeg as subsystem for video and audio decoding (through AmigaOS specific shared libraries) allows emotion to access proven and powerful technologies in the background. Due to the Reaction based interface in combination with optimized operating system functions and FFMpeg as a decoder, Emotion understands itself as its own interpretation of a multimedia player which is not just a port of existing open source projects but tries to connect tried and tested technologies with the ecosystem of AmigaOS. Emotion looks like an AmigaOS software, works like a … it’s an AmigaOS software!s |
