  wolfSSL on Amiga
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4482
As many of you are probably aware, I am one of the developers of wolfSSL. I specialise in porting to various platforms, everything from 16bit microcontrollers to big iron 64bit server processors. I decided to see if I could get wolfSSL running on a 30+ year old platform, specifically “Jops”, the Amiga 4000 I just finished restoring.

Working with Amiga Floppy Disks in Historical Video Game Research
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 3754
Like most humanity scholars and historians, we work with historical materials that we compile into a corpus. How does this approach apply to researching digital-born media, such as video games designed for the Amiga computing system? When inquiring older digital games, the question of authenticity1 quickly arises. Playing a game is an integral part in my research process. Even if just briefly, I want to be in the feedback loop created by myself, the machine and the game. It helps me get a feeling for the game at hand and what it might encompass.

Working with the Amiga's RAM and RAD disks
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5322
A RAM disk exactly what it sounds like: using a portion of a computer's RAM as a disk. The benefit is, above all else, speed. The drawback is, naturally, less RAM available for running software. The Amiga has a RAM disk. So what? RAM disks are commonplace: in most Unix-like systems they're just a mount command away, and on other systems there's probably at least one third party tool available for creating one, if the OS isn't capable out of the box.

Writing my own dialogue scripting language
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4517
Magicore Anomala is an Amiga game I'm working on. I made Doki Doki Literature Club using Ren'Py, a Python-based visual novel engine that has some staggering capabilities. But thinking about it, there are tons of games with visual novel-like dialogue features—maybe even the majority of them at this point. How is dialogue implemented in these games? Do most of them use existing dialogue scripting libraries, or are they more often spinning up their own solution? I have no idea, but given the extremely specific features and limitations of Magicore, I had no choice but to create my entire stack from scratch (like literally everything else in the game engine).

Hello and welcome to the best website on the internet for information on the Commodore CDTV. This site is dedicated to the first computer to be sold as standard with a CD-Rom drive but this is not a historical site, Not by any means, the Commodore CDTV is still alive and kicking bottom, With its idiot proof interface (Just put the CD in and it will load), Its good looks (Would you like a computer which doestn look out of place next to a DVD player or VCR?) and its upgrade potential.
