The AmigaOS community is one of the oldest and most dedicated. The loyalty of this community is one of the reasons that AmigaOS still exists today and continues to be actively supported and developed. The community has expanded worldwide, featuring users from various cultures and with different experiences. But they all have something in common, they continue to enjoy using AmigaOS daily. The following list contains some of the community websites around the world that are available to visit.

Company behind Amiga OS 4 seems to be either going or is in fact bankrupt
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4478
So, I won’t be wasting too many words on this – partially because I’m not into cheap soap operas, and partially because there’s no way to know what’s going on with this nonsense without dedicating a year’s worth of detailed study into the subject. So it seems that the company Hyperion, which develops and owns the rights to Amiga OS 4 and Amiga OS 3.2 has gone into bankruptcy proceedings.

Converting a PC Floppy Drive to Amiga
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4680
I recently purchased an external floppy drive the for the Amiga which was sold as “untested”. Unfortunately “untested” in this case meant “doesn’t work and someone did a bad attempt at repairing it”. There were parts of the drive physically broken and it was beyond repair. I lucked out because unlike the Rotec drive I repaired in the past, this one uses a standard floppy connector inside. So, instead I decided to convert a PC floppy drive to work in the case.

Copy Protection Used on Commodore Amiga Computers
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4817
Background. The Amiga floppy controller is unusually flexible since it is implemented in the custom chips of the Amiga itself. It can read and write raw bit sequences directly from and to the disk via DMA or programmed I/O at 500 (double density) or 250 kbit/s (single density or GCR)... CopyLock - Rob Northen Computing

  CPLDICY
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4685
Commodore Amiga 2000/3000/4000 I2C controller as Zorro-II card. This controller is software compatible to M. Boehmer's ICY board. The main difference between the original ICY card and this design is that the PCF8584 I2C controller chip is mapped indirectly to the Amiga bus here. This way, occasional mis-configuration of the PCF8584 bus protocol and timing issues can be worked around. While the main purpose of this board is to provide an I2C controller, there are some optional on-board extras.

Creating a new Amiga OS: Reflections of a 50 year old developer
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4902
My first programming experience was Basic on a ZX81. Then my step-dad bought me a c64 and I was hooked. And I have been a software developer ever since. When I was lucky enough to get an Amiga, I started with Amiga Basic while dabbing in Kuma Seka Assembler, learning the ropes. Eventually Blitz Basic came onto the scene and it was a perfect match since it compiled to real binaries (real machine code, as opposed to bytecodes or “P-Code” as it was called back then), and allowed users to write inline assembly side-by-side with basic statements.

Lately I have been seeing many Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200 with bad Band Pass Filter (Z221) and Delay Line (Z222). This generally causing bad picture quality on composite and the RF-modulator. {...} The modification is rather simple if you have some SMD soldering experience and you only need to components. So, why wait!
