This is my AMIGA / WINDOWS Raycaster project. The main engine files has been written in C without using any external libraries, so the engine is OS independent. It can be easly adapted to OS that uses 32 bit RGBA buffer rendering.

  Multifix-AGA
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4587
This is a ECS and AGA-combo scandoubler and flicker fixer for big box Amigas. A scandoubler doubles the horizontal frequency of the Amiga output from ~15.6kHz to ~31.5kHz to let a VGA monitor think it has the double number of lines. But in real every scanline is just doubbled ;). In interlace two suceeding lines are transmitted via half frames @25Hz. A flicker fixer stores one frame in a field mem and uses it to complete the second frame @ 50 Hz. It removes the nasty interlace flicker.

  Multimonitor Amiga Setup with P96
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4792
{youtube} A demonstration of a multimonitor setup for classic Amiga OS using P96. It's still a bit clunky, but with some recent updates to P96, it feels a lot more modern.

My undying love for the painfully uncool Amiga
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5016
It may have looked like something you’d see a bank teller use, but it withstood heavy battering. And it ran the coolest games

BBoot is a simple, minimal boot loader to load AmigaOS on QEMU emulated amigaone and pegasos2 machines. It is replacing the second level boot loader (amigaboot.of on pegasos2 and slb_v2 on amigaone) and makes booting AmigaOS on QEMU simpler and without needing a firmware ROM. The original amigaboot.of only works with the non-free pegasos2 SmartFirmware and slb_v2 is tied to U-Boot, whereas BBoot also works with QEMU's built in minimal Virtual Open Firmware (VOF) on pegasos2 or without U-Boot on amigaone.

I've written some Am*ga software, of which the most famous probably is the BlizKick tool. I am too lazy to maintain a separate webpage for them, so this page will re-open in the software directory shortly. If that doesn't happen automagically, click here.   What does it do? Processes (line doubles) retro games with NO input lag – Unlike other scalers, such as the XRGB Mini, the OSSC works on individual scanlines rather than a frame at a time, that means there’s no input lag whatsoever (well, a few nanoseconds if you really want to be precise). Eliminates ugly deinterlacing artefacts and bad scaling. Converts SCART and Component to DVI/HDMI. Convert VGA to DVI/HDMI – Connect a retro PC directly to the unit and enjoy HDMI processing of all your games. Convert analogue audio to digital DVI/HDMI. Fast deinterlacer.

Lately I’ve noticed a lot of questions on how to partition and prepare Compact Flash card (or HDD) for use with Amiga, so I’ve decided to write this tutorial on how to do it and format them as PFS3 partitions. At least this is how I do it :). Using PC with WinUAE to prepare everything and just pop finished card in Amiga, ready to go.

NDK Setup for the SAS/C compiler
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4955
Although its development has been discontinued some years after Commodore went under, SAS/C Version 6 still is one of the best and recommendable C-compilers for classic AmigaOS development until today.

NDK Setup for the VBCC Compiler
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4956
vbcc is a highly optimizing portable and retargetable ISO C compiler by Volker Barthelmann. It supports ISO C89 and a subset of C99. It's also still being developed and offers a variety of target distributions and cross-compiling options. Best of all: It's free. The AmigaOS distribution of vbcc is maintained by Frank Wille and can be downloaded here. Frank added support for the NDK3.2 in vbcc 0.9h, so you'll have to get this version or a later one.

  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4575
After 30 years of not-assembly-coding I wanted to start a small project for my beloved Amiga 500. Because many games did not use the full PAL resolution (320x256), I wanted to try exactly this.

  Networking an Amiga to a PC {ARCHIVED 28Oct 2020}
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4511
Thanks to the inclusion of Screamernet with Lightwave 4.0 and higher, you may use a single copy of Lightwave to render your work on multiple computer systems. This greatly speeds up your rendering time, and if you have several computers around, Screamernet is flexible enough to allow you to use Modeler on one system while the others are busy rendering.{...} But before you can 'start Screaming', you have to have a network up and running. Screamernet will use your existing network, it will not do the networking for you.

  New Amiga A1100 is Out
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4611
Amiga A1100 by Miguel Fides is out. It was found on the Spanish retrowiki.es Forum site. Here the new Amiga A1100 was presented. In the news on Amiganews.de they reveal about the YouTube video too! On the Wikiretro blog, the official presentation of the original Commodore Amiga 1000 housing motherboard was announced on the 9th of February 2021. The idea of the post that was made is to test the interest of making the new Amiga 1000 clone. It is an replacement for a motherboard that is damaged or that only have the casing, because the plate has died etc.

No, the limits of HAM have not vanished!
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5126
We had already spoken in some detail about the Amiga’s HAM mode in an article a few months ago (sorry, it’s in Italian. But you can easily translate it with DeepL, Bing, Google, etc.), dissecting (especially from a technical point of view) all the problems that beset it and, therefore, the reasons why it was rarely used, relegating it mostly to displaying static images or movies/animations.
