  Amiga Keeper List
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 4743
  {From a post by Lionagony over at eab.abime.net. "Last year I tried a few minutes of every game on the Amiga, SNES, MD, PC Engine and PS1 and came to the conclusion that the Amiga has the most games that I want to come back to. My main criteria were for action games that were fun and had good graphics. My final numbers were Amiga 316, PS1 232, SNES 202, MD 198 and PC Engine 69. Here's the Amiga list, could probably update it with a few more games now including Roguecraft"}

  Amiga pixel art
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5079
  I remember Amiga games looked pretty great back in the day. Some still do, if seen on real hardware. Pixel artists adapted their art for an environment with specific video out signal processing, CRT scanlines, gamma and ghosting. Using an emulator, certain scroll text movements, copper gradients, or frame flicker tricks will look harsh and skippy. The gamma might be way off, judging by the peculiar black-points I'm seeing coming out of a lot of emulated old hardware, in particular MAME.

I thought it would be nice to have a thread for such questions. Thread rule: nobody is allowed to laugh, no matter how stupid the question is.'}
