Celebrating 40 Years of the Commodore Amiga 1000!
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5505
It’s time to blow out the candles on that delicious cake, as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Commodore Amiga 1000! That’s right, it’s been four decades since the launch of the Amiga 1000. Looking back, I remember wishing for an Atari ST as a kid, but fate smiled upon me, and I ended up with an Amiga 500 instead.

  Changing the A1000 fan
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5707
I’m on a roll upgrading the Amiga 1000. This time, I replaced the PSU fan. The Amiga 1000 PSU uses an ETRI Model 126LH metallic fan that is AC-powered 220/110V. These fans are pretty good, silent, reliable, and used in computers and industrial-grade equipment. However, they all suffer from a common problem: after long years of continuous use, the fan bearing starts developing an annoying grinding noise due to a lack of lubrication.

  Commodore A1200 Reloaded
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5721
Much like the C64 Reloaded, the Commodore A1200 Reloaded will be a new motherboard using original MOS/CSG chips. It does not directly compare to any existing Commodore Axxx mainboard, but if you want a comparison basis, then an A1200 is probably the closest match. However, there are differences that also make it very much "not A1200".

Commodore Amiga 1200 enclosure 3D print model
  Author:   Verified: Nov 30, -0001   id: 5848
This is a photorealistic and high-detailed 3d print model with 1:1 resolution, compatible to Amiga 1200 keyboard and motherboard. Amiga 1200(also known as A1200) was a popular home computer in 90s which was a low-end version of high-end Amiga-s with AGA architecture, it had a Motorola MC68EC020 processor inside and a new advanced AGA chipset. It also had a hard drive inside in HD versions, so it was possible to install OS and use it as a very convenient home computer. Model was printed and tested on real keyboard and motherboard.
